Digital wallet

When you are travel aboard in vacation but not carry you laptop computer for business, how are you going to do if you runs out of memory card from you digital camera?
1. Buy a new flash card for your DC.
2. Borr0w a computer from others for storing and retrieving.
3. Borrow someone computer and burn the data into a CD-R or DVD-R.
4. Use a HDD as a digital wallet for copying jpeg data from your memory card to your mobile HDD and then delete your memory card data for re-use again.
I use the condition number 4.
I buy a digital wallet Naphus PDP III with 40GB for HK$1498 with memory slots for MS, MS Pro, SD, CF and MMC. So after you taken fully your memory card with your DC, you just copy everything in your digital wallet and slip it back to your DC and format it again for use again.
Quite a convinent and efficient way if you got one or two memory cards.
There is also more choice for your HD like 60GB, 80GB, or even 100GB.
Try one if you like.

PMP(Portable Multimedia Player)

PMP means portable multimedia player, that is , you can watch video, play games, see photots, or even view TXT(text). There are a lot of brand available but seems very expensive right now.
The quality is not the same, you have to check the device by yourself. Usually Japanese models will be better but will be more expensive.
Sony had announcced a PSP(Play Station Portable) in Japan will can play movies , see jpeg pictures, play games, watch video. But the device is only availabe overseas right now.
You have to wait until next first quarter in 2005 to buy in HK.

Christmas in HK

I am now in HK spending my vacation in Christmas holiday.
There are so many visitors coming to HK for Christmas, day and night.
Everyone enjoy the holidays atomsphere here. Eating, drinking, shopping, watching, sight-seeing all around everywhere. Weather here is good about 18-22 degree C. Rather hot in winter time in HK, you don't ever need a jacket in daytime. Very shining and sunny days.
HK Disneyland will be opened next year, I think more and more visitors will come back again for this great moment, including my kid too.
See you again in Taipei in next year 2005.

What are you going to do with your old PDA device?

What are you going to do with your old PDA device?
Sell/give it to someone you know or via internet.
Or put in the drawer until battery runs out.
Here is something you can consider: donation to health practitioners in Africa.
