Night shift

It is busy before Chinese New Year holiday. Still 1 week to go. I cannot image how to handle so many patients rush in ED everynight on my shift. What ever MICU, SICU, CCU, CVSI are fully occupied and there is always ED patients with ventilator waiting for admission. ED in Taiwan is full of patients every day year round, may be our registration fees is too low to restrain patient that are not so urgent to come to ED. In USA, I don't think so many urgent patients will go to ED for treatment.

Use TH55 for WLAN entry

This is the first time I use my TH55 PDA for WLAN entry in an WLAN coffee shop. It is sucessful but the entry speed is slow because you had no keyboard but very small screen keyboard in your PDA.My be a portable or virtual keyboard is necessary. The other thing is that you cannot type too much words cause you will be tired using the scren keyboard.

KungFu Hustle Movie

Last Christmas I travel back to HK for vacation, one of the thing I enjoyed besides shopping is watching a movie- KungFu Hustle by Stephen Chow. I think every chinese in HK, Taiwan and mainland China knows Stephen's movies as well as his last movie 3 years ago- Shaolin soceer. KungFu Hustle is a good movie and a new innovation using computer techniques for animation and slow motion, just like Matrix - the revolutation. I like the movie soundtrack also since it had a lot of chinese theme for the old cantonese KungFu films. If you are born in HK in 1960s , then you will be quite familiar with these themes.
